Give £75 to support beekeeping training for people with disabilities.
Your gift will help us include the excluded.
People living with disability are among the most marginalised people in the world, often unable to gain even the most basic education and live in deep poverty.
However, once trained as a beekeeper, they have a reliable, sustainable income for life. Beekeeping gives people the opportunity to earn money from selling honey and beeswax, giving them a role in both the family setting and the community.
In Uganda, we employ Hope Agwang as the Disability Inclusion Officer to allow us to work with people living with disability more effectively. With the right training and support, they can keep bees and change from being a family dependant to an economic provider.
