Join Bees for Development on Saturday 13 June for the annual Monmouth Bee Festival 2026, a vibrant community celebration of bees, pollinators, and the vital role they play in our lives. Taking place in the beautiful Nelson Garden in Monmouth from 12pm to 4pm, this free, family-friendly event promises something for everyone.

Children can enjoy face painting, seed ball making, and more, while adults browse stalls from local environmental charities, artisan crafts, and beekeeping organisations. Alongside beekeeping displays, willow weaving, homemade cakes, and refreshments, live music will keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the afternoon. Don’t miss our fascinating talk by the Queen Bee, Meriet Duncan, on the secret life of the honey bee, taking place from 1–2pm and 2.30–3.30pm, fun, accessible, and perfect for all ages.
