Sustainable beekeeping
Can we be kinder to bees? In this course we take a hard look how people manage honey bees and consider more natural ways to take care of them.

"Making it simple and accessible to look after bees in a more sustainable way." This introduction to bees will cover their role, value and products, and focus on how we can manage our relationship to ensure their survival. No previous knowledge of beekeeping is assumed. This course is run by Bees for Development in cooperation with Ragmans Lane Farm, a working and training farm run along permaculture design principles. The course will include practical and classroom sessions. Suitable for those with no previous knowledge of beekeeping.
