Hives were fumigated by burning strips impregnated with \"Agaricide A Fumigant\" (AAF, active ingredient not named).  It is reported that AAF is safe to honeybees and that it was 74.7 - 100% effective as an acaricide.  It was as effective as \"Miticide 1\" (M1, active ingredient not named) against Tropilaelaps claeeae, but M1 was more effective against Varroa jacobsoni.  Folbex VA [bromopropylate] and AAF were equally effective against Varroa, but AAf killed more T. clareae than Folbex VA.
