Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, is one of the most important tourism destinations in China, famous for its natural beauty and historical heritages. You can take a trip on the charming West Lake and taste the famous green tea, fragrant Longjing tea. In addition you can easily visit other spectacular areas of Hangzhou. GUYANA The Guyana Beekeeping Association and the Government of Guyana therefore cordially extend an invitation to the Regional and International Beekeeping fraternity to attend and participate in the Fifth Caribbean Beekeeping Congress. This Congress of the Caribbean Beekeeping Community is a continuation of a series of Congresses started in Tobago in 1998, .and continued in Nevis, Jamaica, and Trinidad in 2000, 2002 and 2005 respectively. These Congresses provide a forum for meaningful discussion and exchange of ideas and technical information among individuals involved in the beekeeping industry. It has emerged as the most important event on the Caribbean Beekeeping Calendar. Prospective Delegates are hereby invited to submit Abstracts, Papers and Posters under the following topics: ORGANIC BEEKEEPING and Honey bee management; Strategic investment, economics and record-keeping; Organic honey and other bee products standards; Marketing, Globalization and Trade Issues; Pest and disease control; Environmental issues; Genetically modified organisms issues; Value-added products; Stingless bees/indigenous bees; Africanized honey bees; Apiculture Development issues and Caribbean Country reports and updates.
