Information Service
We aim to provide a response to every request for beekeeping information from an individual or a project in a developing country. We are able to draw on the beekeeping information resources held at Bees for Development, and the expertise of the staff, in answering beekeeping enquiries that come from all over the developing world. In 2006, we responded to over 3,000 enquiries. This is one of the principal activities of Bees for Development.
Bees for Development Journal
BfD Journal is at the heart of our network. We have 4,500 readers in over 140 countries. For many people working in remote, rural areas it is the only beekeeping literature they receive. The Journal gives up-to-date news on practical beekeeping and events world-wide. Most importantly, the Journal provides a forum for discussion of sustainable beekeeping techniques. The Journal is used as the official newsletter of the Asian Apicultural Association.

Enough material can be supplied for up to 25 participants. Beekeepers and groups in developing countries are welcome to request a box free of charge.
