The Everest of UK Cycling
Els Vermeulen will be cycling 1,400 km from London to Edinburgh and back in 116 hours. Els would like to raise £1 per kilometre. The ride takes place on 26th July 2009 and is dubbed the Everest of UK Cycling.
Els intends to raise funds for Bees for Development Trust, "I am a beekeeper with Ealing Beekeepers' Association and have worked for seven years in a development organisation, so bees and development are close to my heart".
Els has so far raised £550 towards her total. Will you help?

Triathlon
Rob Probyn took part in the London Triathlon having secured many sponsors to help him raise funds for Bees for Development Trust. After intensive training and preparation Rob completed the three parts of the event - a swim of 1.5 km followed by a 40 km cycle ride and a 10 km run - without any breaks.
Rob reported back after the day to say that he had beaten his target time and was happy that he had raised money for the Trust and its great work.
Well done Els, Rob, and many thanks to all your supporters.
