Gwent Wildlife Trust

Bees for Development will have a stall at the Gwent Wildlife Trust open day on the 12th August. Please come along and find out about our work in Monmouth and the developing world. The opening hours for visitors are between 11 and 4. More information on the open day can be found here

Fundraising

TrekFest 2014

Rob Bender will be fundraising for Bees for Development by undertaking the huge physical and psychological challenge of the TrekFest in the Brecon Beacons on 7 & 8 June.  He will be walking 54 miles in 24 hours to raise funds to support our work.

Grand Union Challenge 2014

Grand Union Challenge Team

On 29th June 2014 a group of postgraduate students from King's College London will be undertaking their biggest ever physical challenge - to run the Grand Union Challenge 25km from Central London to Hayes. 

James, Jessie, Serkan, Stephanie, Mikael, Hina, Jess and Hannah chose to support Bees for Development because they want to ensure beekeepers living in remote and poor areas of the world have access to resources and advice to help lift them out of poverty.

Lambeth Palace Garden Party 1 July 2014

Martha Kearney is hosting a Bee Garden Party for Bees for Development and Bees Abroad at Lambeth Palace in London on Tuesday 1 July 2014 from 6 to 8.30pm.  An evening reception with wine, canapés and music - to raise awareness and funds for beekeeping projects around the world.  Tickets are now available by clicking this link to the Bee Aid website.
